1. Inleiding

Het is noodzakelijk dat alle websites en applicaties correct worden weergegeven in de meest courante internetbrowsers.

Daarnaast vinden we het belangrijk dat onze websites en toepassingen vlot toegankelijk zijn voor personen met een handicap.

 

1.1 Browser compatibiliteit

De code is geoptimaliseerd voor de volgende browserversies:

  • Edge
  • Explorer 10 en 11
  • Safari 8
  • Firefox 40
  • Chrome 46
  • Safari voor IOS9
  • Standaard browser voor Android 5 en 4.4

 

1.2 Toegankelijkheid

De UGent bereikt een groot publiek via haar websites. Door alle websites zo toegankelijk mogelijk te maken bieden we iedereen gelijke mogelijkheden.

We hanteren hiervoor de richtlijnen die worden vooropgesteld door AnySurfer.

De checklist die AnySurfer hanteert volgt de internationale Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) versie 2.0 niveau A.
